NASL Championship series is set. After a wild 3-3 game the Tampa Bay Rowdies played Minnesota for the Championship in game 1 of 2 on Saturday. Minnesota won the first leg 2-0. Which player was shown a straight red in the 6th minute to cost San Antonio the semifinal and ultimately their season?
Even more Stadium news, Ottawa’s City Council has agreed to help pay for the new sports center which includes plans to accomodate Soccer with what will surely be the coolest stadium in the Lower Divisions, Lansdowne Park. This video will make you wish it wasn’t going to be 2 years before the newly awarded NASL expansion city can hold matches.
The NASL recognized the best of the league with their “Best XI”. Take a look, you might be reading these names next season in MLS. Or you might remember this moustache.
